Gross salary is rarely the number that matters. This adds statutory contributions, end-of-service accrual, mandatory insurance and permit costs, then shows the same salary side by side across all three markets.
Statutory Guidance:GOSI is charged on basic salary plus housing allowance only, capped at SAR 45,000 a month. End-of-service accrues at 15 days of wage per year for the first five years. The expatriate labour levy and iqama costs are shown amortised monthly.
Same salary benchmarked across three markets
Converted to USD at current rates for comparative benchmarking.
Rates reviewed August 2026 and rounded. Insurance, levy and permit figures are market estimates, not quotations, and vary by insurer, activity, salary band and workforce mix. This is not payroll, tax or legal advice — we confirm the position for your case in writing before you hire.
